Freezer, Fridge, Refrigerator Explosion: Causes, Risks Factors, Ways of Prevention
Explosions of refrigerators are RARE. However, when they occur, they are very deadly and have the ability to destroy your whole family and even a few neighbouring homes. Due to the fact that they occur spontaneously, refrigerator explosions are very hazardous. Other fire threats caused by a stove or toaster often produce smoke that sets off the fire alarm and alerts everyone in the building.
What Can Make a Fridge Explode?
The major cause of your refrigerator's explosion is its compressor, which is located at the rear of the appliance. It consists of a pump and motor that force the refrigerant gas through its coils. As this gas cools and transforms into a liquid, it absorbs heat from the refrigerator and helps to cool the contents.
As the refrigerant continues to go through the compressor, however, the back of the refrigerator might get quite warm. Consequently, this causes the condenser coils to compress. This prevents the gas from escaping via vents. And when more gas accumulates inside the compressor coil, the pressure generates a deadly explosion over time.

However, this danger is mostly restricted to refrigerators older than 8 to 10 years.
To avoid your refrigerator from exploding and destroying everything in its vicinity, our vigilant Bankstown refrigerator repair professionals advise cleaning its compressor coils and ensuring they are not blocked.
Most homes and businesses with a refrigerator or freezer will likely have a PowerPoint connected. And in the majority of situations, it may operate safely for years without any indication that it may potentially trigger an explosion.

However, they are the most hazardous appliances in your organisation since they are constructed of flammable foam insulations with thin plastic coverings.
In all honesty, this is a formula for catastrophe if an electrical problem happens or if a fire from another device spreads to your refrigerator or freezer.
Moreover, since they are among the few appliances that operate continuously, they always represent a fire threat while people are asleep.

How to Prevent Fridges from Being Exploded
Your refrigerator is a piece of electrical equipment. A rather costly one. Therefore, it is always best to be cautious. You must take some measures. These measures will certainly be beneficial.
To facilitate comprehension, I shall tackle it in a sequential way. What you must do during installation and what you must keep in mind while using the software.
A Dedicated Socket
Does your house include an extension cord? These are wonderful and helpful items. But you should never use them to power your refrigerator.

Your refrigerator will operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week, for a whole year. Therefore, it is best to have a dedicated socket. Additionally, the extension cable will have many outlets. You may sometimes use these sockets. You will increase the chance of starting a fire if you do so.
Because connecting many gadgets to a single outlet increases the risk of fire. Get a separate outlet for powering your refrigerator.
GSMA sets out 5G Roadmap for Asia Pacific
New Report Finds Wide Disparity in APAC 5G Readiness, With Spectrum Planning And Management Key To Success
A new analysis of 5G across the Asia Pacific (APAC), published in April by the GSMA, has revealed wide disparities in 5G readiness across the region. The report found that a planned approach to spectrum availability and management are key differentiators for the successful roll-out of high-speed 5G services between competing APAC economies, especially in 700MHz and mid-bands.
The GSMA's 'Roadmaps for awarding 5G spectrum in the APAC Region' provides market analysis and a guide for 5G development in countries across the Asia Pacific. It outlines the steps governments and regulators should take to enable efficient and effective availability of spectrum. To reap the benefits of ultra-fast 5G networks, an average of 2 GHz of mid-band spectrum alone is predicted to be required in the 2025-2030 timeframe, but in many cases, the current path to meeting such spectrum demand is unclear.
Read: 3G/4G network restriction in Rohingya camps to go soon: FS
The APAC region has been a leader in 5G deployment; Korea and Japan were among the first in the world to test and launch commercial networks. However, in other parts of APAC, 5G preparedness varies hugely and countries are faced with a number of issues including a lack of spectrum availability, especially in the sub-1 GHz range, and cross-border coordination. In some cases, 5G spectrum is yet to be awarded.
Different demographics and economies across the diverse region mean that countries such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam will require enhanced or bespoke roadmaps. Meanwhile, India is moving ahead with a robust consultation programme as it develops its plans for affordable connectivity.
"The most successful countries are those with a defined plan for 5G deployment. Across APAC, we see a wide disparity in countries' readiness for 5G, and the key differentiator is spectrum management. This report will help governments and regulators in countries across the Asia Pacific to enable 5G in the most efficient way possible," said the GSMA's Head of Spectrum, Luciana Camargos.

Musk gets $7B backing for Twitter bid from tech heavyweights
Billionaire Elon Musk has strengthened the equity stake of his offer to buy Twitter with commitments of more than $7 billion from a range of investors, including Silicon Valley heavy hitters like Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
Other investors include Sequoia Capital Fund, which pledged $800 million, and VyCapital, which pledged $700 million, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. But Ellison, who is also a and Tesla board member, is making the biggest contribution, pegged at $1 billion.

Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud has pledged 35 million in Twitter shares in support of Musk, according to the filing.
Musk in earlier regulatory filings revealed that he has sold roughly $8.5 billion worth of shares in Tesla to help fund the purchase. Musk later tweeted that he doesn’t plan any further sales of the company’s shares, meaning he would need outside commitments to help fund the $44 billion deal.
Because of the new funding listed in the SEC filing Thursday, Musk will cut the $12.5 billion in margin loans he was leaning on in half, to $6.25 billion. The transaction is also now being funded by $27.25 billion in cash and equities, up from $21 billion.
The Thursday filing also said that Musk is in ongoing talks with other parties including former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who is the second largest individual stakeholder in the company after Musk.

“This was a smart financial and strategic move by Musk that will be well received across the board and also shows the Twitter deal is now on a glide path to get done by the end of this year,” wrote analyst Dan Ives who follows Twitter for Wedbush.
Shares of Twitter Inc. have remained below the per-share offering bid by Musk of $54.20 because there are still doubts on Wall Street about whether the deal will go through.
Shares of the San Francisco social media platform rose 2% before the opening bell, to $50.10.

Walton Primo GH11 Review: The Ultra Budget Device Made in Bangladesh
Walton is one of the leading electronic brands in Bangladesh. The company was founded in 1977 and is currently one of the largest tech conglomerates in Bangladesh serving almost all the areas of consumer electronics. The company moved into the mobile devices with feature phones back in 2007 and since then they foraged into smartphones as well. In continuation of the company’s affordable superlative devices, Walton recently launched the Walton Primo GH11 on 25th April 2022. The device is being hailed as the local flagship killer as it incorporates a solid spec with a very aggressive price. Let’s find out more.
Key Specifications of Walton Primo GH11
Design and Build Quality
Before diving into the details, users should understand that this is a sub 10,000 BDT device. International phone brands operating in Bangladesh struggle to provide a barely managing device at this price range. So beyond its obvious cut corners, the device is still a great performer keeping the price in mind.
Starting with the design, there is a little shift from its predecessor, the Primo GH10. The overall form factor and the port selection remain the same from the previous iterations. The notable change is seen on the back where there is a two-tone vertical finish. The device is completely plastic with a glass front. But the subtle dual texture with a light-reflective finish gives it a much more premium look compared to its build.
Read Samsung Galaxy A23 4G: Can it uphold the reputation of ancestors?
Moving onto ports and buttons, the device has a physical fingerprint scanner on the back just like the GH10. The accented power button gives the device its unique look from the side. The bottom of the device features the micro-USB port, bottom-firing speaker, and mic. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is situated at the top. There isn’t any secondary noise cancellation mic here and considering the price the choice isn’t surprising.
There are two sim trays along with a micro SDXC tray in the sim slot section. The device itself comes with 32 GB ROM onboard with expandable memory supporting up to 256 GB.
Overall, the design is a breath of fresh air for those who don’t like to sport a cover on their phone. The build quality is also decent and overall, it's as good as things get in a four-digit price range.

The Display
The biggest problem with a budget device is the cut corner on the display. Most of the time, the display gets overlooked even though it’s the first contact point of the user experience. Thankfully, Walton did a better job with the display on the GH11.
The display used in the Primo GH11 is an HD+ IPS INCELL panel with a 2.5 D curve. Now it's still an LCD panel with 720P resolution and realistically, no one was expecting it to compete with the likes of the AMOLED panel.
But the display easily outshines any other panels in its budget range. The INCELL panel provides deep blacks, satisfactory viewing angles, and adequate brightness. Color may seem. A bit washed out but it's nothing that can’t be calibrated from the settings. Overall, the display makes for a pleasant viewing experience with its limited capabilities.

ABM Jabed Sultan Piyas, Head of Business of daily Prothom Alo, said “In Prothom Alo , women always get priority. A woman-friendly atmosphere has always existed in the media of Bangladesh. The range of online careers is much higher, especially for girls in this sector. Payment is also much higher, you can do this by developing your own skills.”
Shubhashis Roy, Head of Business of The Daily Star said, “Journalists now have to work and survive with the knowledge of ICT whether it is a boy or a girl. We are also moving forward along the path of digital Bangladesh. We need more girls in ICT, we have to bring equality of opportunity. It is necessary to create awareness in the society, more initiatives are needed from the government. Girls in ICT are essential to the future survival of the economy.”
Nazia Hasan, Head of Design at Design & API said, “We need a big change in the field of education, it should start from the very beginning. We have to try to create curiosity in children from an early age. Girls need to be encouraged to enter the ICT sector through various competitions.”

Talukdar Mohammad Sabbir, Director & CEO – BITM said, “At the beginning of the BITM course, the participation of girls was almost negligible. Yet that is not too much, about 15-20%. Probably a factor as to why they're doing so poorly. Boys are more likely to be seen in ICT sector courses, which is not desirable at all. Overall, where more than 40% of the girls should be present, more than 20% of us have never come here as participants, which is sad.”
Lightshow co-founder Sultana Razia said if women's participation in the ICT sector is not increased, women will lag behind in terms of empowerment. Lightshow will conduct training on STEMs, workshops on STEMs, hackathon on ARCTs and raising awareness on increasing ICT participation of women.

Xiaomi Redmi 10c Review: Can this budget phone fulfil users’ needs?
While Xiaomi is best known for its flagship products, the firm has gained traction in a number of areas. Thanks to its inexpensive handsets that provide respectable features for a low price. This prompted the company to announce a new smartphone in the Redmi series for the economic segment, dubbed the Xiaomi Redmi 10C, which would be the direct successor to the Redmi 9C from last year. Here goes a detailed review of Xiaomi Redmi 10c.
Key Features of Xiaomi Redmi 10c
Design
Let's begin with the design and manufacturing materials. In comparison to the previous generation, the Redmi 10c phone features a new design. The back and side frames are made of plastic, while the black camera bump is equipped with various elements such as imaging sensors, an LED flash, and a fingerprint reader.
Read Samsung Galaxy A23 4G: Can it uphold the reputation of ancestors?
Additionally, it has the Redmi logo, while the side frame houses the power button, volume controls, charging and speaker ports, as well as slides and a memory stick. The front end features a V-notch and a big bottom border. The phone measures 169.5 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 190g. It is available in three colours: Mint Green, Graphite Gray, and Ocean Blue.
What is frustrating about the design is Xiaomi's decision to relocate the fingerprint scanner to the rear rather than the conventional power button. This is a big drop since many users prefer the fingerprint reader positioned on the side. However, others may disagree since everyone, in the end, has their own taste.
Display
The Redmi 10C features a 6.71-inch LCD monitor with a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 268 PPI, and a maximum brightness of 400 nits.

Additionally, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass protective layer of the third generation. Exhibit 20:9. Additionally to other settings such as sunlight, the screen enables reading mode to shield the eyes from hazardous radiation. In conclusion, the screen is excellent and covers all of your everyday demands, but it will not be the deciding factor in your decision to purchase this phone.
However, this is compensated by the support for Widevine L1 HD files, which are capable of streaming high-definition videos from Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, allowing you to enjoy your favourite films in high-definition and completing the experience with a powerful speaker.
Thus, although the Redmi 10C may not have the finest screen, it does provide the most value for money, providing a high-quality screen suited for media consumption, whether watching videos, playing games, or surfing social media.

Cameras and Their Features
The cameras are one of the Redmi 10 C's strongest aspects. There is nothing to be concerned about in terms of their standards. Its compact rear cover conceals a square camera module that includes not just a dual-camera system and an LED flash but also a microSD card slot.
Along with 1080p video capturing at 30 frames per second, a 50MP main lens with an F/1.8 lens slot on the Samsung S5KJN1 sensor provides panoramic technology, HDR, and night mode.
Additionally, there is a 2MP OmniVision OV02B10 sensor with an F/2.4 lens slot for isolation, while the front has a 5MP selfie camera with an F/2.2 lens slot that enables 1080p@30fps video recording. Furthermire, there is a facial recognition function through the front camera and artificial intelligence that unlocks the lock screen when the device's owner's face is identified.

Performance and Software
When it comes to performance, the Redmi 10C excels in the majority of its basic and entertainment uses, such as surfing the web, watching videos on YouTube, and using social media platforms, as everything ran smoothly and without any issues with applications freezing or reaching abnormally high temperatures.
Whereas the Redmi 10C is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 octa-core CPU manufactured using a 6nm technology. The chipset comprises four Kryo 265 Gold cores running at 2.4GHz and four Kryo 265 Silver cores running at 1.9GHz. Qualcomm 600 series CPUs are often used in low- and mid-range smartphones. And the most recent smartphone, the Redmi Note 11, used this CPU, indicating its efficiency and reliability.
This comes with an Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB RAM, or up to 128GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via external microSD card. This phone contributes to uninterrupted performance regardless of the task at hand by increasing typing speed, which results in speedier installation and loading of all your favourite applications.
