How to Buy a Drone in Bangladesh?
Drones have become phenomenally popular since their creation. The craze has raged even more when they become available to consumers. Some special aspects have turned drones into a worldwide sensation. Among those aspects, the most crucial one might be its limitless usability. From tracking a traffic condition of a certain area to capturing enchanting panoramic images, they can do many things. Their potentialities can intrigue anyone to buy one for himself. However, there are some things to know if anyone wants to buy a drone in Bangladesh. And these considerable things are entirely for ensuring public safety and safe drone flying.
Flying Drones in Bangladesh
It has not been many days since Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority (CAAB) has installed some strict rules regulating drone usage. These regulations cover all types of commercial and recreational flights of drones. Prior to the last year's structural formation of these regulations, Bangladesh hasn't any organized system to control people drone flying behavior.
Some incidents in other countries like the US and the UK have inspired Bangladesh to take such measure. Amid these incidents, about 23 were cases of droning missing collisions with aircraft in the UK. Some reports were even more concerning. For instance, in some of these 23 cases, the aircraft fallen under risk of collisions were passenger-carrier Boeings.
Other than these, a flying drone equipped with cameras and other sensors can raise serious concern relating to privacy violation. There are several allegations been trialed in the US courts over the last years. Observed and taken notes from the experience of these countries, CAAB has recently installed some provisions to set standards for drones' aviation for Bangladeshis. It's essential for a drone pilot or a potential buyer to know all these provisions and follow the instructions.

What to Consider Before Buying a Drone in Bangladesh?
CAAB has explicitly narrated all the requirements to be met by a drone owner before flying it in its circulated provisions. Like he must acquire a permit and show the demonstration of his qualification as required. In addition to these, some rules should also be realized and abode by.
Some of these rules are:
Area Limit:
CAAB provisions have limited the area a drone can fly within, rendering a three-dimensional outlay. Like a pilot cannot levitate a drone to an altitude higher than 61 meters. This altitude can be lower during cloudy and dark weather. Any attempt to fly a drone in at least 9.26 km range around an airport, or other private runways or helipads or urban areas is prohibited. A drone must keep at least 300 meters distance from a public gathering or personal property. Any breach of public security or privacy is a punishable act.
Registration:
Before maneuvering drones, people must get approval from CAAB. They have to apply for permission at least 45 days before the maneuver. The application will require a pilot to provide some basic information like:
- - His personal data: His name, age, and profession.
- - His intention: Why does he want to fly the drone? What is his purpose behind it? Is it for making commercial videos, training, or conducting research?
- - The date and time: When the maneuver will take place.
- - The location coordinate: Where the maneuver will take place.
- - Copter description: Name, model, weight, capacity, etc.
- - Insurance information: Documents narrating the insurance coverage.

Insurance:
After buying a drone in Bangladesh, a pilot must get insurance for his drone before flying it. This insurance covers the expenses the pilot has to carry for any drone incidents. Like, an amateur pilot operating a drone for the first time might wrongly orient it to other people's properties and cause some damages to them. Apart from the ransom the pilot is liable to pay to those people, he also has to spend money for repairing his copter. Drone insurance covers both expenses. Insurance can vary in respect of payable fees depending on some criteria. Knowing them will ease the process of obtaining insurance for you.
- - Intended Application: Whether you want to fly a drone for commercial use or private purpose will apply different tariffs.
- - Coverage: Depending on the maximum coverage limit demanded, your insurance fee will vary. The higher the limit, the more it will cover your expense.
- - Number of Pilot: If a drone gets shared with multiple pilots, each of their names should be registered into the insurance facility.
- - Location and Maneuver Style: The pilot has to describe the typical condition of the place he wants to fly the drone over. He also has to elaborate on his flying style.
- - Price and Features: The price and the features of the drone will also affect the insurance type.
Age Requirement:
A pilot below 18 years old can't fly a drone in Bangladesh. He must have a clear sight and mind while flying. People with low vision or any eye-related issue are strongly discouraged from such maneuvering.

Biggest space station crowd in decade after SpaceX arrival
The International Space Station’s population swelled to 11 on Saturday with the jubilant arrival of SpaceX’s third crew capsule in less than a year.
It’s the biggest crowd up there in more than a decade.
All of the astronauts — representing the U.S., Russia, Japan and France — managed to squeeze into camera view for a congratulatory call from the leaders of their space agencies.
“In this tough situation around the world, I believe you have brought courage and hope for all of us,” Japanese Space Agency President Hiroshi Yamakawa said from his country’s flight control center, referring to the global pandemic.
A recycled SpaceX capsule carrying four astronauts arrived at the space station a day after launching from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The Dragon capsule docked autonomously with the orbiting outpost more than 260 miles (420 kilometers) above the Indian Ocean. The hatches swung open a couple hours later, uniting all 11 space travelers.
“Man, it is awesome to see the 11 of you on station,” said NASA’s acting administrator, Steve Jurczyk. He noted that this will be the norm, now that SpaceX is regularly flying crews.
The newcomers will spend six months at the space station. They’ll replace four astronauts who will return to Earth in their own Dragon capsule Wednesday to end a half-year mission. NASA deliberately planned for a brief overlap so the outgoing SpaceX crew could show the new arrivals around.

Although this was SpaceX’s third crew flight for NASA, it was the first to use a vehicle that’s flown before, an essential part of a plan by SpaceX founder and chief executive Elon Musk to push to the moon and Mars. The Dragon capsule was used for SpaceX’s first crew launch last May, while the Falcon rocket soaring Friday hoisted crew two in November.
It was the first time two SpaceX crew Dragons were parked there at the same time — practically side by side.
NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur — the commander and pilot of the returning Dragon — monitored their capsule’s flat screen computers during the morning rendezvous. They could have taken control if necessary, but the autonomous system did its job, much like a self-driving car.
Also checking into the space station: France’s Thomas Pesquet and Japan’s Akihiko Hoshide. Both have lived there before, as has Kimbrough. But it was the first station visit for McArthur. She flew up in the same seat and the same capsule — named Endeavour — as her husband, Bob Behnken, did on SpaceX’s debut crew mission.
The European Space Agency’s director general, Josef Aschbacher, joked that the space station needs expansion with so many on board.
Pesquet — the first European to fly on a commercial crew capsule — noted that the space station has changed quite a bit since his last visit four years ago, with more people and types of spacecraft.
“We’re so happy to see our friends,” he said. “We wish we could keep them a little bit longer, but not too long as well, because 11 people is a lot on a space station.”

The all-time record is 13, set during NASA’s space shuttle era.
The current population includes six Americans, two Russians, two Japanese and one French. It will shrink by four on Wednesday when three Americans and one Japanese depart for home and a splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico.
NASA turned to private companies for space station deliveries after the shuttles retired in 2011. SpaceX began supply runs in 2012, honing its skills before launching astronauts and ending NASA’s reliance on Russia. NASA also hired Boeing for taxi service, but the company’s Starliner capsule isn’t expected to fly astronauts until next year.
China names Mars rover for traditional fire god
China’s first Mars rover will be named Zhurong after a traditional fire god, the government announced Saturday.
The rover is aboard the Tianwen-1 probe that arrived in Mars orbit on Feb. 24 and is due to land in May to look for evidence of life.
It is part of Chinese space plans that include launching a crewed orbital station and landing a human on the moon. China in 2019 became the first country to land a space probe on the little-explored far side of the moon and in December returned lunar rocks to Earth for the first time since the 1970s.
The rover’s title fits with the Chinese name for Mars — “Huo Xing,” or fire star, the China National Space Administration said.
The name “signifies igniting the flame of China’s planetary exploration,” a deputy CNSA administrator, Wu Yanhua, was cited by the official Xinhua News Agency as saying.

The top candidate for the landing site is Utopia Planitia, a rock-strewn plain where the U.S. lander Viking 2 touched down in 1976.
CNSA says Tianwen-1′s goals including analyzing and mapping the Martian surface and geology, looking for water ice and studying the climate and surface environment.
China would become the third country after the former Soviet Union and the United States to put a robot rover on Mars.

Consumer Reports tricks Tesla to drive with no one at wheel
Consumer Reports said Thursday it was able to easily trick a Tesla into driving in the car’s Autopilot mode with no one at the wheel.
Its test came just days after a Tesla crashed in Texas, killing the two men in the car. Authorities say neither of the men were in the driver’s seat at the time of the crash.
Tesla’s Autopilot partially automated system can keep a car centered in its lane, keep a distance from cars in front of it, and can even change lanes on its own with a driver’s consent. But Tesla has said the driver must be ready to intervene at all times.
Also read: Scrutiny of Tesla crash a sign that regulation may be coming
Consumer Reports said that during several trips on its closed tracks with an empty driver’s seat, its Tesla Model Y automatically steered along painted lane lines without acknowledging that nobody was at the controls. The Tesla that crashed outside of Houston over the weekend was a Model S, but also had an Autopilot function.
“In our evaluation, the system not only failed to make sure the driver was paying attention, but it also couldn’t tell if there was a driver there at all,” said Jake Fisher, Consumer Reports’ senior director of auto testing, who conducted the experiment. “Tesla is falling behind other automakers like GM and Ford that, on models with advanced driver assist systems, use technology to make sure the driver is looking at the road.”
Tesla, which is based in Palo Alto, California, and has disbanded its press office, did not immediately respond to inquiries about Consumer Reports’ assertions.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are in the early stages of an investigation into the Texas crash. Local authorities said one man was found in the passenger seat, while another was in the back. The car veered off the road, crashed into a tree and burst into flames, authorities said.
Investigators should be able to determine whether the Tesla’s Autopilot system was in use.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter Monday that data logs “recovered so far” show Autopilot wasn’t turned on in the Texas crash, and “Full Self-Driving” was not purchased for the vehicle. He did not respond to reporters’ questions posted on Twitter.
In the past, NHTSA, which has authority to regulate automakers and seek recalls for defective vehicles, has taken a hands-off approach to regulating partial and fully automated systems for fear of hindering development of promising new features.
But since March, the agency has stepped up inquiries into Tesla, dispatching teams to three crashes. It has investigated 28 Tesla crashes in the past few years, but thus far has relied on voluntary safety compliance from auto and tech companies.
Also read: NTSB: Tesla Autopilot, distracted driver caused fatal crash
Also on Thursday, Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn. and Edward Markey, D-Mass., asked federal officials to conduct a thorough investigation of the Texas crash and make recommendations for improving automated driving.
In the Consumer Reports test, Fisher said he engaged Autopilot while the car was in motion on the track, then set the speed dial to zero to stop it. Fisher then affixed a small, weighted chain on the steering wheel to simulate the weight of a driver’s hand. He then slid over into the front passenger seat where he was able to accelerate and decelerate the vehicle.
“The car drove up and down the half-mile lane of our track, repeatedly, never noting that no one was in the driver’s seat, never noting that there was no one touching the steering wheel, never noting there was no weight on the seat,” Fisher said. “It was a bit frightening when we realized how easy it was to defeat the safeguards, which we proved were clearly insufficient.”
Consumer Reports noted the test was performed on its closed track and that “under no circumstances should anyone try” to duplicate it.
“Let me be clear: Anyone who uses Autopilot on the road without someone in the driver seat is putting themselves and others in imminent danger,” Fisher said.

Besides, it also monitors the heart rate during your exercise. After analyzing the rate of your heart for every 30 minutes it gives an almost accurate report on your heart. As a result, you will know if your heart is healthy or not. Other than that, the SpO2 sensor is a phenomenal feature. It can get you the report on your blood oxygen level through the iHealth pulse oximeter.
SmartWatch Features
The smartwatch on Mi Band 6 works on both Android and iPhone. You can connect the third-party application as well as the native app to use the smartwatch via your phone. The smartwatch featured reminders, weather forecasts, alerts, controlling music, and so on. Furthermore, the smartwatch feature can get you a photo-taking option with your phone’s camera. However, it does not come with the payment support feature. However, if you were a Band 5 user you may find a lot of similarities in displaying a notification, weather updates, and music controls.

Sport Tracking
The Mi 6 added 19 new sports profiles while the previous version contained 11 profiles. So, you can get the opportunity to select from 30 sports profiles which include swimming, jump rope, running, cycling, basketball, cricket, and other popular sports. However, it will not take your shots while playing basketball, but it comes with the ability to tag your team on the court.
In addition to the manual tracking, it also tracks the exercises automatically such as treadmill, walking, rowing, cycling, and elliptical. However, the improved GPS and mapping support can track your area accurately. So, your phone gets the actual GPS data via the device. After a certain exercise, you can review your data from the band itself. Besides, you can get the detailed report via the Mi Fit app using your phone.
Bottom Line
If you are a fitness freak and want to track your body clock continuously, Xiaomi Mi Band 6 can be your ultimate friend. Since it is yet to launch in Bangladesh, you can order online from the USA or Europe marketplace. However, it is already available in China, you can order from there too.
