Motorola Edge 30 Pro Review: What does it offer?
Motorola launched off 2022 earlier this month with the introduction of the Moto G Stylus. It is now ready to unveil another smartphone: a rebranded version of the Edge X30, which made its debut in China in December. Moto Edge 30 Pro is the phone's moniker, and it was unveiled on March 4. Let's chekout the features, spces, price of Moto Edge 30 Pro.
Key Features of Motorola Edge 30 Pro
Design
This Motorola is not a pocket-sized phone. Yes, it is also not the largest phone available, owing to its very thin display bezels. But you will find it to be quite a handful. In real life, its form is boxier, which does not assist with ergonomics. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is also rather slippery, despite its matte back; therefore, it's recommended that you use it with a case. At the very least, the phone seems very light and thin, particularly given its size.
On the rear, the classic Motorola logo is not textured, which is a wasted chance for a distinguishing design aspect. Nonetheless, it looks lovely and reflects a lot of light. The camera module for the three cameras is concealed inside the body. This prevents the phone from wobbling when placed on a flat surface. Although the module is encased with plastic glass, it does not feel cheap.

This glass does not cover the cameras. They, like the iPhone 13 series, have distinct real-glass housings. These are pleasant to the touch but also quite smudge-prone, so exercise caution when using the camera app.
Motorola's Edge 30 Pro has attractive metal edges that, because of their glossy sheen, may easily be mistaken for plastic. These are also not very grippy. All buttons are located on the right, and the power button also functions as a fingerprint scanner. The scanner is quick and easy to use, although many Motorola fans would have preferred an in-display scanner.
Display
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is distinguished by an attractive display. The 6.7-inch P-OLED display on this phone delivers very vibrant colors with a solid balance of minimum and maximum brightness. The only issue with this display is that it is not visible in direct sunlight. To be clear, the display is viewable. However, competitors such as the iPhone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S22 have brighter screens. This may be because its glass is more reflective than the others.

Indoors, you'll appreciate the 144Hz variable refresh rate. This improves game performance and makes navigation on the phone seem lightning-fast. Motorola's Edge 30 Pro has a first-generation P-OLED display. This implies that, unlike other rivals, it cannot operate between 1Hz and 144Hz.
Nonetheless, it adjusts its refresh rate based on the environment, and Motorola reports that the phone automatically varies between 60Hz to 120Hz and 144Hz. This conserves the battery life while increasing the phone's overall feel. There is no stuttering or toggling between refresh rates, which is a positive sign. The touch sampling rates are great, which contributes to the phone's responsiveness.
Rear Cameras
Motorola's Edge 30 Pro is equipped with a brand-new 50MP triple-camera setup. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor and optical image stabilization. Additionally, this sensor has QuadPixel technology, which combines four pixels into a single larger one, enhancing low-light photography and reducing memory use.
Read Apple iPhone SE 3: Leaks, rumors about release date, price, Specs
During the daytime, its primary camera gives excellent photos. Photos have the proper saturation and exposure while retaining excellent detail, even when moving objects are present.
Another 50MP sensor serves as the ultra-wide camera on this Motorola flagship phone. It has QuadPixel technology.
Motorola's latest phone also has a 2MP depth camera, and it doesn't seem to add much, if anything, to the final product. It seems to be mostly for aesthetic purposes.
Selfie Cameras
The Edge 30 Pro's secondary camera is a 60MP f/2.2 sensor. It, too, is equipped with Quad Pixel technology. The results are remarkable, particularly throughout the day. Selfies, taken with the lens, have a natural-looking soft bokeh effect, as well as excellent exposure and detail. Night selfies are also acceptable, although the colors seem a little under-saturated.

Performance and Software
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU in the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is absolutely incredible. According to early indications, this processor is prone to overheat. However, that is not the case with this current Motorola flagship. Even while you're gaming vigorously, this phone remains cool to the touch.
The performance is one of the most impressive ever. This phone effortlessly launches large applications and games. Consumers should choose the 12GB RAM/256GB UFS 3.1 storage configuration. Users will have no trouble multitasking, as my phone quickly maintains 10 or more open applications. Even if you select the 8GB RAM model, It will handle multitasking well since its software seems very well-tuned.
Motorola's Edge 30 Pro comes with Android 12. The company's current My UX user interface is very lightweight and attractive while retaining Motorola's signature intuitive smart features, such as the double chopping motion to switch on the flashlight.

Battery and Charger
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro has very long battery life. While the 4,800mAh battery is not the biggest available, paired with the P-OLED display and fast CPU, it comfortably lasts a day and a half. Light users may anticipate at least two days without recharging.
When the time comes to charge, Motorola provides a variety of options. In comparison to previous Edge phones, which supported just 30W fast charging and lacked wireless charging, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Additionally, it has a 5W reverse charging capability, which is a very helpful feature.
Price of Motorola Edge 30 pro in Bangladesh
Edge 30 Pro is not yet available officially in Bangladesh. The gadget is priced at 49,999 INR for the 8/128 GB model in India. In Bangladeshi currency the price stands about 56,686 BDT (1 INR equals 1.13 BDT). However, the official price tag of this phone may vary significantly in Bangladesh due to a variety of variables such as availability, taxation, and corporate policy.

Conclusion
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is an excellent successor to the Motorola Edge 20 Pro and one of the /cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphones available today. While the Edge 30 Pro is marketed as an improvement, and it does seem like one most of the time, it does have certain drawbacks. If you're looking for a phone to play games on, you're better off with the ROG Phone; if you want a phone with fantastic cameras, you're better off with the OnePlus 9RT or Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
OnePlus Nord 3: Updated Rumors, Leaks You Need to Know
OnePlus has seen success with its line of affordable flagships. Now, the company is rumored to be working on a new phone called the OnePlus Nord 3. This new device looks to be positioned as a mid-range option and could be a great choice for budget-minded consumers. The phone is expected to have a 6.7-inch display and four rear camera setups. It may also come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery. Here is what we know about and what we expect for OnePlus Nord 3.
Leaks and Rumors of OnePlus Nord 3
Design
The OnePlus 3 is expected to have a sleek design like the Nord 2. It may build solidly with a robust plastic frame. The phone may also come with Gorilla Glass 5 panels. While the Nord 2 has 3 cameras, the new version may offer four rear cameras in the rear panel. The Nord 3 may follow a similar design to the previous version. However, we may see some improvements inspired by OnePlus Nord CE 2.
OnePlus Nord 2 was available with a Pac-Man edition that had dot-patterned in the rear that also glowed in the dark. So, Nord 3 may come with such design variation to grab the attention.
Read Samsung Galaxy F23 5G: Review with Price
Apart from these, the phone may come with an on screen fingerprint sensor along with face unlock. However, Nord 3 may not offer a 3.5 mm headphone jack option. But it will surely offer a Bluetooth headset option.
Higher display refresh rate
Display refresh rate is the number of times per second a smartphone's display updates. In years past, 60Hz (60 times per second) was the standard, but devices with higher refresh rates are becoming more common. Some phones even support refresh rates of up to 144Hz.
Currently, most of the budget and mid-range to premium phones come with at least a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the OnePlus Nord series have been stuck to 90Hz. So, OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to have at least a 120Hz refresh rate to outrank the competitors. When a refresh rate is higher, the motion looks smoother, which is beneficial for streaming content or playing games. This makes it easier to swipe between menus and home pages. Hence, Nord 3 might be faster than Nord 3 if they work on the refresh rate.

Hasselblad camera tricks
OnePlus has partnered with camera company Hasselblad to optimize the cameras on their flagship devices. The Nord series could benefit from this partnership as well, with improved photography features.
OnePlus' 10 camera modes include a Hasselblad Pro Mode, which is similar to the Pro Mode on your standard smartphone camera. However, this mode captures in a higher color profile and saves in a version of RAW that takes up less space. Besides, there is another more Pro equivalent that allows changing settings when you are shooting. None of the Nord series phones come with these features. And it is expected that Nord 3 may comply with these features.
Although the Nord 3's mid-range specs may not allow for flashy or intensive camera effects from Hasselblad, the phone may include some competent features that set it apart from similarly priced competitors.
Read Samsung Galaxy M23: Is it worth waiting for this device?
Nord 3 may offer a 50 MP primary camera along with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. A macro camera will definitely be there and it could be 2 MP. It's possible that the main 50 MP camera could be the same as the one found on the OnePlus 9 Pro, which uses the Sony IMX766 sensor. The front-facing selfie camera is expected to come with 32 MP.
Battery and charging
According to the latest AndroidCentral report, the upcoming Nord 3 will come with 150W fast charging. This will make it one of the fastest-charging smartphones on the market. According to several reports, Nord 3 will have a 4,500mAh battery in it.
No app throttling
OnePlus was in the news in mid-2021 when users discovered that its OxygenOS software throttled popular apps. It means that the phone puts restrictions on some specific apps about using the processing power. But OnePlus issued a statement saying that the throttling was intended to improve overall system performance, but many users were not satisfied with this explanation.
Read Tecno Pop 5 LTE Review: Durable phone under affordable price range
So, OnePlus will not make the mistake again for sure. Hence, the Nord 3 will certainly get rid of the hidden throttling feature.
Range of colors
The OnePlus Nord 2 was available in blue, gray, or green, but not all versions are available in all regions. For example, Indians get to use the green color while the blue was more accessible for the UK users with certain memory configurations.
OnePlus Nord 3 may improve upon their product lineup by embracing more color, which Samsung did very successfully with the Galaxy S20 FE. It offers a wide range of vibrant colors. So, rumors suggest that we may get to see different color variants for this mid-range phone.
Read OPPO Find X5 Pro: Review of the latest flagship device
Memory and hardware
The phone may be equipped with up to 12 GB Ram. Further, there is a possibility that Nord 3 will feature MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor with four Cortex-A78 cores. In addition to that, the chipset may support LDDR5 RAM as well as UFS 3.1 storage. The internal memory may offer up to 256GB.
Final Words
The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to get released in the second quarter of 2022. So far, nothing has been confirmed about the OnePlus Nord 3. The company has not released any information and has no pictures or specs. However, if the OnePlus Nord 3 is anything like its predecessors, it will definitely be worth the wait. With its powerful processor and large storage capacity, it could be one of the best mid-range phones on the market.

Samsung Galaxy F23 5G: Review with Price
Samsung has been an undoubted leader in the android mid-range budget segment for a long time. The prominence and dominance are so much that the company even has a region-wise series of phones. Galaxy F23 5G is the newest addition to the F series Samsung phones which are exclusively sold in India, Bangladesh, and China. The phone was announced on 8th March 2022 with a scheduled release date on the 16th of the same year in India. Here is a detailed take on the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G device to see whether it holds up in the fiercely competitive mid-range market.
Key Features of Samsung Galaxy F23 5G
Design and Build Quality
The F23 5G is a mid-range phone which is apparent throughout its design and look. Though Samsung did try to upscale the design elements here and there, it ultimately falls short in the build. But then again, users are getting what they are paying for.
The phone is made from plastic all around with a matte finish which adds to a smooth hand feel and fewer fingerprints. The design is a trickling reminiscence of the flagship S 22 series with an albeit rectangular camera bump.
Read Apple iPhone SE 3: Leaks, rumors about release date, price, Specs
The power button and the volume rocker are situated on the right. The power button also doubles as the physical fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The left edge houses the dual sim tray with a dedicated micro SDXC slot. The top edge of the phone is completely flush with the 3.5 mm headphone jack, Type-C port, while the single speaker is situated at the bottom. The overall build quality of the phone is passable at best. And considering the competition at this price point, it could have been better.
The Display
The display of the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G is somewhat a sweet and sour story. There are the usual bells and whistles of 120 Hz refresh rate, true tone, and the reliability of a Samsung panel. On the other hand, the display itself is an IPS LCD panel. It is no secret that the IPS LCD falls much short compared to AMOLED and even more to Samsung’s very own Super AMOLED panels. While no one expected Super AMOLED to be featured at this price, Samsung could have at least used an AMOLED Panel like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 and Realme 8 which are all priced in the same bracket.
Read Samsung Galaxy M23: Is it worth waiting for this device?
Moving on to the display itself, the 120 Hz on the 6.6-inch FHD+ display feels snappy, to say the least. The phone feels much faster than it actually is, which is a very good thing. Animations are smooth and instantaneous to the touch. Color reproduction seemed decent but like all IPS LCD panels, the blacks look a bit washed out. Other than that, there is nothing out of the ordinary in the panel.
The Camera
Samsung has always been big on the camera tech on their devices regardless of the price. The same holds true for the F23 5G. The device has a triple camera setup with the primary lens being a 50 MP Isocell JN1 sensor. This proprietary lens from Samsung uses pixel binding technology to take more detailed and sharper images. An 8 MP 123-degree ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro shooter are complementing the main lens.
The raw images combined with Samsung’s post-processing easily make the images stand out compared to the competitors. The images look sharp and bright with a decent amount of dynamic range in outdoor conditions. The edge detection in portrait mode is also significantly better than the previous iterations. Images do tend to become a bit soft in artificial light but that is just a general problem with almost all mobile cameras. Videography is limited to 1080P at 30 fps. It has been manufactured keeping the processing power of the mid-range chipset in mind.
Read OPPO Find X5 Pro: Review of the latest flagship device
The front camera is a letdown considering the mere 8 MP resolution. But similar to the back camera, the selfie-shooter can also shoot 1080P at 30 fps. Overall, the camera on the F23 is nothing revolutionary and above average at best.
Processor and Performance
F23 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 750G 5G processor built on an 8 nm architecture. It’s an upper mid-range processor with the main focus on efficiency and single-core outputs. The octa-core processor is designed with 2 2.2 GHz Kryo 570 and 6 1.8 GHz Kryo 570 chips. There is an Adreno 619 GPU to complement the graphic-intensive tasks.
In testing, the phone breezed through the day-to-day tasks with ease. The processor is perfectly capable of gaming as well. Users will be able to play graphic-intensive games without any visible lag for a long time. However, the plastic-built phone does get heated up pretty fast while gaming. Other than that, it’s a smooth ride all around.

The phone will ship with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. The current One UI has had a significant revamp compared to the previous OS iterations from Samsung. The super responsive UI combined with minimal bloatware makes for an impressive and immersive experience.
Battery and Charging
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G has been provided with a 5000 mAh battery. The 5000 mAh mark has become a standard over the years for mid-range devices. The phone supports up to 25W fast charging. Users can easily get 6 to 8 hours of continuous usage with a full charge.
But the problem is with the charger. To be more precise, the lack of a charger. Samsung won’t be shipping any charging brick with the F23 which is a major letdown. While it might be for an environmental cause, most people don’t have a fast charger lying around in their homes. This is just going to be an extra cut on the pocket for the buyers.
