Naogaon, June 18 (UNB) – Two teenage boys were found dead in a jute field in Isabpur union of Dhamoirhat upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Jakir Hossain, 16, and Rimon Hossain, 16, of Pashchim Billa village in Joypurhat Sadar upazila.
Jakirul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhamoirhat Police Station, said the teenagers had been missing since June 13 after going out with their electric three-wheelers.
Their families filed a general diary at Joypurhat Sadar Police Station on Friday morning.
Farmers of Paranpur village found the bodies lying in the jute field in the morning and informed police.
A murder case was filed at Dhamoirhat Police Station.
