Some 500 families living in Khurushkul Union, SadarUpazila, Cox’s Bazar District, will receive the family kits, said UNHCR officials.
District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer M Raisuddin Mukul, and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Habibul Hassan will be present at the handover ceremony at Khurushkul Union Parishod office at 10am.
The distributions are part of UNHCR’s ongoing support to the host community. A total of 30,000 households will receive the family kits – which include two floor mats, a bucket, tarpaulin, rope and wire.
