Officials said the visit is taking place as part of strengthening friendship with foreign countries and promoting positive Bangladesh abroad.
They are coming under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Visit Bangladesh Programme and will also visit Rohingya camps, an official told UNB.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali is scheduled to brief the foreign journalists on October 7, said the official.
They will hold meeting with Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu apart from witnessing election preparations of the Election Commission, said another official.
The journalists will also visit Padma Bridge site to witness development activities there before leaving Dhaka on October 8.
Among the journalists, 16 will be from India – based on New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, said another official.
