Kushtia, Oct 2 (UNB) – A 7-day annual training programme of Bangladesh National Cadet Core (BNCC) of Khulna Regiment began at Islamic University (IU) on Tuesday.
IU Vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the function as the chief guest at Birsreshta Hamidur Rahman Auditorium of the university around 10:00am.
IU Pro-VC Prof M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha and Lt Col M Imran Azad of Sundarban Regiment addressed the programme as the special guests while BNCC chief coordinator Prof M Jahangir Hossain was on the chair.
A total of 205 cadet corps and trainers are taking part in the programme.
The participants will receive certificates after completion of the training to be ended on October 8.
