Dhaka, Jan 7 (UNB) – A case was filed on Monday for killing a two-year-old girl Ayshea Moni, killed after falling from three storey building at Gandaria in the city on Saturday evening.
Victim’s father filed the case with Gandaria Police Station accusing two brothers- Nahid, 45 and Lition, 50, after the tragic death of the girl on Saturday evening, said Inspector Mahabub Alam (investigation) of the police station.
According to the case statement, the victim girl’s family stayed a rented house near accused Nahid and Lition’s house.
On Sunday evening, Nahid took Moni to their three floor room and the girl cried to go to her mother.
At one stage, Nahid threw girl from the three stored building, leaving the critically injured. Later, the girl was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead.
But Nahid’s daughter found Moni was crying in her father room before the falling incident.
Police, however, started investigation of the case, the SI said.
