Dinajpur, Oct 24 (UNB) – Four boys returned home through Hili border here on Thursday after ending their detention period in an Indian Child Rehabilitation Center.
Indian immigration police handed the four over to the Bangladesh authority after completing due procedure around 12pm.
The boys are Jahirul Islam, 12, son of MithuMiya of Boalia Thana of Rajshahi; his sibling Alamin Islam, 14; Nur Mohammad, 15, son of Shahabuddin of SunamganjSadarUpazila; and ArifHossain, 10, son of Raju Islam of Panchagarh.
Md Rafikul Islam, officer-in-charge of Hili Immigration Police, said members of Border Security Force detained the four boys when they were trying to intrude into India one and a half years back.
Later, they were kept in a child rehabilitation center in Balurghat.
