Dhaka, May 15 (UNB) – Gambian Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad Dr Mamadou Tangara arrives here on Thursday on a two-day visit as special envoy to the President of Gambia.
During his visit, he will meet Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen and discuss various issues of mutual interest.
Bangladesh and Gambia will sign a protocol on Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) between the two countries on Friday morning at state guesthouse Padma, said an official on Wednesday.
The Minister was scheduled to arrive here on Wednesday but his flight from Banjul to Doha was late and subsequently he could not catch the flight to Dhaka from Doha.
He would be arriving at 5:15pm on Thursday, said the official.
