Natore, June 19 (UNB) – Police recovered the throat-slit body of a man at Pakuria cremation ground in Singra upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Aper Ali, 45, son of Rabi Pramanik of Tarai Purbapara village in the upazila.
Local people spotted the body around 8 am and informed the matter to police who recovered the body around 9 am, said Manirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Singra Police Station.
Aper Ali remained missing since he went out of his house on Tuesday evening, said family members of the victim.
