Under the influence of the well-marked low, the low-lying areas of the coastal districts of Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Barguna, Bhola, Patuakhali, Barishal, Pirozpur, Jhalakati, Bagherhat, Khulna, Satkhira and their offshore islands and chars are likely to be inundated by wind driven surge of 2-4 feet height above normal astronomical tide.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to emain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
They are also advised not to venture into the deep sea.
