Bangladesh Navy Chief paid the courtesy calls on the sideline of China's navy's 70th anniversary celebration programme. Besides, he also made courtesy calls on to the Chinese senior naval officers and discussed bilateral issues, said an Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) media release.
During the meetings, discussions on friendly relations between the two countries and mutual development of the navy were also discussed.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Chinese Navy, the Bangladesh Navy ship “ Prottoy” also participated in the programme named : “International Fleet Review”.
Among others, Naval chiefs from Japan, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Iran, New Zealand, Myanmar, Greece, Peru, South Africa, Chile, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand and Palestine participated in the ceremony. Apart from this, the Navy Chief, High Level Representatives, Observers, and Senior Navy Representatives of various countries were also present.
It is to be noted that the chief of Bangladesh Naval Staff left Dhaka on April 21 to join the 70th anniversary of the Chinese Navy.
