SUST, July 18 (UNB) – The Shahjalal University of Science and Technology on Wednesday decided to join a proposed combined entry test system to reduce the suffering of the admission seekers.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed told UNB on Thursday morning that the decision was taken at the 156th academic council of the university.

“It’ll be effective from the 2020-21 session,” he said, noting that there was a lack of preparation and a guideline. “This year’s entry test will follow the normal procedure.”
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Wednesday said admission tests in most universities will be held through a cluster system from the next year. The unified admission system will be introduced at all universities in phases.
