Islamic University (Kushtia), Apr 5 (UNB) – The authorities of Islamic University (IU) has expelled two of its teachers from the university for being absent in academic activities for long.
The decision was made at the 244th syndicate meeting with IU Vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari in the chair recently.
IU Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif said the vice-chancellor issued the expulsion orders against Professor Gazi Omar Faruque of Law department and Associate Professor Tariquzzaman of Information and Communication Engineering department for irregularities in classes and examinations as they have been staying abroad for long.
