Dhaka, Jul 21 (UNB)- Abdur Rahim, an underprivileged rickshaw puller of Pirojpur district got Tk 1 million after he purchased a Walton refrigerator during Walton’s ongoing nationwide Digital Campaign Season-4.
Walton has declared the offer for the customers of its wide ranges of refrigerators and freezers centering the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. Under this offer, customers of any models of Walton refrigerators and freezers may get Tk 1 million (10 lakh) everyday. Moreover, lucky buyers can also get cash vouchers or thousands of electronics and electrical appliances. The offer will continue until the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Rahim purchased a 14 cft refrigerator worth Tk 37,500 on July 9 from Walton distributor M/S Haque Enterprise at Nesarabad Upazila’s Swarupkathi area paying Tk 5,000 as down payment with Tk 1,806 monthly installment facility. The fridge brought good luck for him and made him millionaire.
A check of Tk 10 lakh was handed over to him at a program held in front of the Swarupkathi municipal Bhaban in the area on July 18.
‘It’s unimaginable that I get Tk10 lakh on buying Walton fridge. When I got the confirmation massage from Walton, I could not even believe it. I have thought that they may be doing fun with me. I do not understand what God has written in my destiny,’ said 34-year-old Rahim.
Authorities said, in a bid to accelerate the initiative of building customers’ database for delivering online based swift and best after sales service, Walton is conducting the ‘Digital Campaign’ across the country.
Meanwhile, three more customers also became millionaires after buying Walton fridges and they are-Chandpur’s mosque Imam Mohammad Zakir, Cumilla’s Nazmul Hasan and Mohammad Yasin from Feni.
