“The proposed budget is generally positive,” he told a joint meeting of BDB and Juktofront at BDB’s Badda Office.
He, however, expressed reservations about increasing mobile phone’s call rate, doubling tax on the profit of savings certificates and keeping scopes for whitening black money.
Chowdhury reminded the government about reforming the banking sector and not taking adequate steps for development of education.

Chowdhury, a former president, said Juktofront will arrange a round table discussion on the national budget very soon.
