Chattogram, Nov 24 (UNB) – Daughters of three late leaders of ruling Awami League and BNP have sought respective party’s tickets to compete in the upcoming Parliamentary election.
Khadiza Khatun Sony, daughter of former MP and Awami League leader late Rafiqul Anwar, submitted her application for Fatikchhari-2 constituency.
Wasika Ayesha Khan, daughter of former MP and Awami League leader later Ataur Rahman Kaiser submitted nomination paper for Chattogram-13 constituency.
Shakila Farzana, daughter of former whip Syed Wahidul Alam, also former adviser of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, submitted nomination paper for Chattogram-13 constituency.
The trio also expressed their hope to win in the national election by following the ideology and principal of their father, if they can manage nominations from the parties.
