In the day’s match, Sajeda Khatun, Tohura Khatun and Shamsun Nahar Jr struck two goals each while Anai Mogini and Rozina Akhter scored one each for Bangladesh.
Sajeda opened the floodgate for Bangladesh in the 14th minute beating one of the opponent defenders utilising a pass of Monika Chakma (1-0).
Maria Slim of Lebanon sent the ball to the own net in the 19th while trying to clear an attempt of Bangladesh striker Tohura (2-0).
Tohura scored her 2nd and the 3rd goal for Bangladesh in the 23rd minute by brilliant shot after entering the danger zone off a long pass from Ankhi Khatun (3-0).
Anai Mogini scored the 4th goal in the just three minutes later by an angular shot from the right wing also off an Ankhi Khatun pass (4-0).
In the 40th minute, Sajeda scored her 2nd and the 5th goal for Bangladesh capitalising on a long pass of Ankhi Khnatun to dominate the first half by 5-0 goals.
Three minutes after the resumption, Shamsun Nahar Junior further widened Bangladesh margin by a placing shot after snatching the ball from one of the opponent defenders (6-0).
Forward Shamsunnahar Jr scored her 2nd goal in the 63rd minute off a low cross from Sultana (7-0) while substitute Rozina Akhter sealed the fate of the match scoring the 8th goal for Bangladesh in the 75th minute utilising a pass of another substitute booter Ilamoni (8-0).
In the remaining group matches, Bangladesh will play the UAE on September 21 at 3:30 pm and face Vietnam in the last group match on September 23 at 3:30 pm.
Earlier, Lebanon made a flying start in the meet outplaying Bahrain by 8-0 goals in the opening group match and earned the 2nd successive win defeating the UAE by 6-3 goals while Vietnam got off to a 4-0 win against the UAE in the other match on the opening day.
