Dhaka, July 19 (UNB)- League leaders and start-studded Bashundhara Kings will play Sheikh Russel KC on Saturday to confirm their maiden title of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football with three matches to spare.
The match will kick-off at 7pm at the Sylhet District Stadium.
Big-budgeted Bashundhara Kings comfortably dominated the league. They did not lose a single match in the league stage and secured 58 points from 20 games – seven points more than its nearest rivals and defending champions Dhaka Abahani which has 51 points from 21 matches.
If Bashundhara Kings win Saturday’s match against, then they will clinch their maiden BPL title with three matches to spare.
In other matches on the same day, Arambagh KS will take on Rahmatganj MFS at 4pm at Rafiq Uuddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh. Sheikh Jamal DC will lock horns with Chattagram Abahani at 4pm while Dhaka Abahani will take on Saif SC at 7pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
