Dhaka, Dec 2 (UNB)– Bangladesh’s pioneering golfer Siddikur Rahman finished tied for 20th place in the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open jointly with two other players that concluded at the Four Seasons Golf Club at Anahita in Mauritius on Sunday.
Two Asian Tour winner Siddikur scored nine-under-par (70,70,73 66) 279 to share the 20th slot to win prize money of US$ 12,955.
In the 4th and last round on Sunday, Siddikur made a brilliant comeback making six-under-par 66 with seven birdies and one bogey.
Kurt Kitayama of the United States clinched top slot by winning his maiden Asian Tour title after carding a final round four-under-par 68 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open on Sunday.
Kitayama earned a winner’s cheque of US$179,607 and moved into the top-10 of the Asian Tour Habitat for Humanity Standing.
