In the day’s 6th round of matches, Saif Sporting Club beat Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club by 4-0 game points while Bangladesh Police defeated Uttara Central Chess Club by 3’5-0.5 game points.
GM Reefat Bin Sattar, GM Kovalev Vladislav, GM Eltaj Sarali and GM Enamul Hossain Razib of Saif Sporting Club won against CM Krishna Thapa, Md. Abu Hanid, Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Md. Matiur Rahman Mamun of Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club.
GM Jobava Baadu, GM Niaz Murshed and IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh Police won against Md Monjur Alam, Tahsin Tajwar Zia and IM Khusenkhojaev Muhammad of Uttara Central Chess Club respectively while GM Lugovskoy Maxim of Uttara Central Chess Club drew with GM Mikheil Mchedlishvili of Bangladesh Police.
Bangladesh Navy overcame Sonargaon Chess Club by 3-1 game points, Sheikh Russel Chess Club beat Bangladesh Biman by 2.5 -1.5 game points, Titas Club defeated Sultana Kamal Smrity Pathagar by 3.5-0.5 game points, Janata Bank Officer Welfare Society pipped Access Chess Club by 2.5-1.5 game points during the 6th round of matches.
The 7th round of matches will be held on Friday from 3pm at same venue.
