Dhaka, Jan 18 (UNB) — Sylhet Sixers won the toss and chose to bat first on Friday against Dhaka Dynamites in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The tournament resumed at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium after a day’s break.
Sixers have played five matches so far in the latest edition of BPL and won two of them. Dynamites, on the other hand, have won four out of their five games and are currently at the top of the points table.
In their last match, Sixers stunned defending champions Rangpur Riders by 27 Runs. Liton Das and David Warner played pivotal roles.
Warner is playing the game despite an elbow injury. He will leave for Australia after taking part in his side’s next game against Riders on January 19.
Dynamites lost their last match to Rajshahi Kings by 20 runs, which was their first loss in the ongoing season of BPL.
