With sweet memory of crushing hosts Bangladesh by 224 runs in the one-off Test match in Chattogram last week, Rashid Khan-led Afghanistan scored massive 197 for 5 against Zimbabwe in their opening match of the Tri-Nation T20 series in Mirpur on Saturday evening.
Apart from Sunday’s match against Afghanistan, hosts Bangladesh will play Zimbabwe again on September 18 and Afghanistan again on September 21 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
Two top teams will play the final on September 24 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
