A Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) official said that the team left Dhaka on Friday at 10am and reached Amsterdam at 8pm (local time).
The competition will be considered as the primary qualification tournament for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Earlier, BAF picked six archers and three officials for their 4th consecutive World Cup Archery after Italy (2011), Turkey (2013) and Denmark (2015).
Roman Shana, Md Tamimul Islam, Md Hakim Ahmed Rubel and Beauty Roy will compete in men’s and women’s recurve singles, team and mixed team events. Asim Kumar Das and Susmita Bonik will take part in men’s and women’s compound singles and mixed team events.
Around 1,610 archers from 92 countries will compete in recurve and compound divisions at the 50th edition of World Archery Championships, a biennial event.
Men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, and mixed team were included in the recurve division while men’s singles, women’s singles and mixed team were included in the compound division in ranking and elimination rounds.
The archers are expected to return home on June 18.
