Two people were killed on the spot with 15 others injured in a truck accident in Myanmar's Magway region, according to a release from the Home Affairs Ministry on Tuesday.
The crash took place in Gangaw township Sunday, the release said.
With 17 people aboard, a six-wheeled truck travelling from Gangaw to Kale lost control and plunged into a nearby ravine at 12:00 p.m. local time.
The injured including the driver were brought to the Gangaw General Hospital for treatment.
The truck driver was charged for negligent driving under the country's Penal Code.
