Dhaka, July 23 (UNB) – A total of 112 hajj flights including 93 dedicated and 19 schedule flights were conducted under Biman Bangladesh Airlines Hajj Operations-2019 programme on Tuesday.
Biman has so far flown 41,264 hajj passengers to Saudi Arabia. The hajj flights began from July 4.
During the two-month long hajj flight operations, a total of 365 flights including schedule ones will be conducted, of them 304 flights are ‘dedicated’ and the rest 61 are scheduled flights.
The pre-hajj flights will be conducted till August 5.
During the post-hajj period, 147 flights will be conducted from August 17 to September 15 (dedicated-147 and schedule 29). Of them, 18 direct flights will be conducted from Bangladesh to Medina and 15 others from Medina to Bangladesh.
