Dhaka, Sep 18 (UNB) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has arrested two alleged female drug dealers along with 943 Indian Yaba tablets from Baliyamari Kheyaghat frontier of Rajibpur upazila in Kurigram district on Wednesday.
The arrestees Hasina Begum, 50, wife of Joynal Uddin, and Nasima Begum, wife of Hossain Ali, hailed from village Mathpara of Rajibpur in Kurigram district.
Contacted, Commanding Officer of 35 BGB battalion Lt Col SM Azad told UNB that acting on a tip off a BGB team led by Havilder Arif Khan of Baliamari Border Outpost (BOP) conducted raid at Baliyamari Kheyaghat area at around 3:00 pm and arrested the duo along with the Yaba pills.
They were handed over to Rajibpur police station.
