At least three people, including a woman and a minor, were killed and two others injured as a truck crashed into an auto-rickshaw on Kushtia-Iswardi highway in Bheramara upazila on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased could not be identified yet.

Quoting witnesses, police said the truck smashed the three-wheeler in front of Bheramara Powerhouse passenger shed around 3pm, leaving the auto-rickshaw driver dead on the spot and its five passengers injured.

Later, two of the injured died on the way to hospital.
