The protesters holding placards with different slogans also burned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in effigy.
In Sylhet, Musollis under the banner of Bangladesh Jamiatul Ulema took out a rally after Juma prayers in Sylhet city.
They protested the deadly attacks on Muslims in India’s capital.
The protesters also burned Modi in effigy, saying the people of Bangladesh do not want to see him to attend programmes to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman here.
