Thakurgaon, Sept 1 (UNB)- Members of Border Security Force of India picked up two Bangladeshi men on Sunday here at Nagorvita border in Baliadangi upazila.
The victims were identified as Abdul Hakim, 22, son of Md Alam of Kolonibonti village and Md Syed, 23, son of Tofe Uddin of Dhulia village in the upazila.
Thakurgaon-50 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion Deputy Director Md Raj Masud said a patrol team of BSF-171 arrested two Bangladeshis with 200 bottles of phensedyl near the 376/2 pillar area in Nagorvita at dawn on Sunday.
BSF have handed over the Bangladeshi citizens to Islampur Police in Uttar Dinajpur district in India, informed BGB.
Earlier on August 29, BSF arrested four Bangladeshi men in Haripur upazila of the district. They entered India illegally and were caught while coming back home.
