Confirming the information, sources at the Police Headquarters said: “5,417 among 9,172 infected policemen made full recovery from coronavirus as of Monday morning.”
Among the infected, 2,120 policemen are attached to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) alone, said the sources.

The sources also informed that 30 cops have so far died of Covid-19.
The sources said most of the policemen, who recovered earlier, have joined their respective duty stations.

Bangladesh has so far reported 115,786 coronavirus cases and 1,502 deaths.
Health authorities on Monday reported 3,480 new Covid-19 cases and 38 deaths in the last 24 hours.
