Dhaka, Dec 1 (UNB) - Jatiya Party (JaPa) secretary general ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader on Saturday said his party chairman HM Ershad has been staying at his home as his health condition improved.
He also said the party chairman will take part in the upcoming national election as the party has submitted his nomination papers to the Election Commission.
“He is now a candidate," said the Jatiya Party leader while talking to media personnel at Nirbachan Bhaban in the city.
Replying to a query on Jatiya Party’s alleged nomination trade, he said, "Many people are complaining from their frustration. The news about nomination business which came in various media is baseless."
He also mentioned that the party’s election preparation was ongoing on full swing, adding, “The honorable chairman is managing everything and will kick off election campaign in time.”
