Islamic University, Sept 20 (UNB) - A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia and Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA), Brunei to undertake joint academic and research activities.
The signing ceremony was held on the UNISSA campus, IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif told UNB on Thursday evening.
IU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari and Dr Norarfan, Rector of UNISSA, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities.
IU Law and Legal Studies department Assistant Professor Nasir Azhary was present on the occasion.
The IU VC told UNB that the MoU will play an important role in enhancing the professional skills of the university students.
He called upon the students to make themselves as skilled human resources by utilising the opportunity.
