GM Quader came up with the remarks while speaking at a programme of Swechchasebak Party at Jatiya Party chairman’s Banani office.
He said their party is working to materialise the dreams of its founder late HM Ershad by winning the hearts of common people.
GM Quader urged their party leaders and activists to work for strengthening it at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, Jatiya Chhatra Samaj, the student wing of Jatiya Party, has completed all the necessary preparations for holding its council.
The first session of Chhatra Samaj’s council will be held at the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh on November 13 while the second session (voting) will be held at Jatiya Party’s Kakrail central office the same day, said a press release.
A three-member election commission has been formed comprising party Presidium Member Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, Vice Chairman Mostaqur Rahman Mostaq and Joint Secretary General Golam Mohammad Raju for the council, the press release said.
Those who want to vie for Chhatra Samaj’s president and general secretary posts must have graduation as their educational qualification, and their age limit should be maximum 35 years, the release added.
