A total of 12 participants who are mostly university students and professionals joined the training session that began on Thursday, said a press release.
The training started with the welcome speech of Sharmin Bulbul, Strategy and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer of WildTeam.
The entire training session was facilitated by Emon Kabir Noyon, Head of Planning, JPZ Consulting (Bangladesh) Ltd. He shared basic understanding of the GIS and provided hands on training on the ArcGIS.
Prof Dr Md Anwarul Islam, General Secretary of WildTeam, made the closing remarks when he appreciated the participants’ enthusiasm for learning GIS and enhancing their skills.
The participants also shared their views about the training and acknowledged NKC’s efforts to spread conservation skills.
They also received certificates after on completion of the training.
