A separate charge sheet was pressed against teenage boy Tajul Islam, one of the 14 accused, under the Children Act.
The chargesheets were submitted before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court Judge Saiduzzaman Sharif.
The court ordered the concerned authorities to shift the case against the 13 accused to the Anti-Terrorism Special Tribunal.
The accused are Akram Hossain Khan Niloy, 24, Nazmul Hasan alias Mamun, 21, Abul Kashem Fakir alias Abu Musab, 22, Abdullah Aiyach alias Rafik, 42, Tarek Mohammad alias Adnan, 22, Kamrul Islam Shakil alias Harikane alias Robot alias Tanzim, 25, Lulu Sardar alias Sahid, 30, Tazrin Khanam Suvo, 29, Sadia Hosna Lacky, 32, Abu Torab Khan, 56, Tanvir Yasin Karim alias Hitman alias Jin, 32,
Humayra Jakir Nabila, Muslim Abdullah, 32, and Tajul Islam alias Soton alias Fahim, 17.
All the accused were members of banned militant outfit Neo-Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).
On August 15 in 2017, police conducted an anti-militant drive codenamed “August Bite” at the hotel and prevented a possible attack on those marching towards Dhanmondi Road No 32, marking the Mourning Day.
A case was filed in that connection on the following day.
