Dhaka, Dec 3 (UNB) - Eminent photographer Anwar Hossain, who was found dead in a residential hotel in the city's Panthapath area on Saturday, was laid to eternal rest here on Monday.
He was buried at the Martyred Intellectuals’ Graveyard in Mirpur in the afternoon following a namaz-e-janazar at Dhaka University central mosque after Zohr prayers.
Earlier, his body was taken to the Central Shaheed Minar around 11am where people from all walks of life paid their lat tributes to the noted photographer.
Anwar Hossain, a Bangladeshi-born French citizen, was found dead at Olio Dream Haven Hotel on Saturday morning.
He had come to Dhaka for taking part in a photography competition as a judge.
