The two power plant projects are 'Keraniganj 160 MW dual-fuel (HFO/Gas) power plant' and 'Khulna 100 MW HFO-based power plant', said a PowerPac press release.
The 'Keraniganj 160 MW dual fuel power plant' is set to be established at Keraniganj near the capital, adjacent to the existing 100MW HFO based power plant of PowerPac Holdings Ltd., while the 'Khulna 100 MW HFO-based power plant' will be established in Khulna.
Ron Haque Sikder, managing director of the Power Pac Holdings Limited signed the agreement for Keraniganj power plant with Pan Dengyu, vice president of Power China and for 'Khulna 100 HFO-based power plant' with Yan Laihu, another vice president of Power China at 'Sikder House', the corporate head office of Sikder Group, Banani in the city.
Director of Sikder Group John Haque Sikder, chief operating officer (COO) of the group S Q Islam Mohon, officials of the 'Power China' and senior officials of the Power Pac Holdings Ltd. were also present at the signing ceremony.
