Islamic University, Feb 15 (UNB) - A three-day book fair will be held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia from February 19.
It will continue until February 21, IU Information, Publication and Public Relations Office Director M Ataul Haque said on Friday.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will address the inaugural session as the chief guest while short story writer Professor Hasan Azizul Huq of Rajshahi University will be present as the chief discussant.
IU Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha will attend the function as the special guest while IU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman will preside over it, he added.
All preparations have already been taken to hold the fair in a peaceful atmosphere, IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Rashid Askari said.
