Islamic University, Jul 19 (UNB) - A two-day workshop on ‘financial management’ began at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Friday.
The workshop was organized by IU at the conference room of the administration building.
IU vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari addressed the inaugural session as the chief guest while University Grants Commission’s finance and accounts director M Rezaul Karim Hawladar delivered speech as the resource person.
IU pro-vice-chancellor Prof M Shahinoor Rahman and treasurer Prof M Selim Toha attended as special guests with IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif in the chair.
Deputy registrar Nawab Ali conducted the workshop attended by over one hundred officials of different departments and offices of the university.
