Dhaka, Aug 5 (UNB) – A three-day photo exhibition titled ‘Paharer Bornil Sangskriti’ began at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) on Monday.
The BSA together with Bangladesh Ethnic Artiste Forum organised the exhibition as part of its month-long programme to mark the National Mourning Day and 44th death anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
International Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister Dr Gowher Rizvi inaugurated the show, dedicated to Bangabandhu, as the chief guest.
Dipankar Talukdar, MP and Cultural Affairs Secretary Dr Md Abu Hena Mostofa Kamal were special guests at the opening ceremony while the welcome address was given by Ethnic Forum's Adviser artist Kanak Chanpa Chakma.
The exhibition will remain open from 11am to 8pm every day until Wednesday.
