Dhaka, Oct 24 (UNB) – Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader on Thursday said money is necessary for politics, but doing politics for money is corruption.
“Instability and vacuum have been prevailing in the country’s politics. Jatiya Party will fill the political vacuum by earning people’s trust,” he said.
Quader further said, “Money is necessary for politics, but politics for money means corruption. Jatiya Party will bring a qualitative change in the politics.”
He came up with the remarks while exchanging views with the leaders of Jatiya Mohila Party and Jatiya Ulema Party at Jatiya Party chairman’s Banani office.
The Jatiya Party chairman said their party has started working to gain people’s confidence to build a new Bangladesh as per the outlines of their late chairman HM Ershad.
He called upon their party leaders and activists to work for strengthening their grassroots. “We won’t do politics with hired people. Those who want to do politics must have a sacrificing mentality.”
Jatiya Party Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga said their party is doing politics to materialise the dreams of the country’s people and protect their interests.
He urged their party leaders and activists to work hard for enhancing their party’s organisational strength, and do politics for ensuring people’s welfare.
