The league matches will be held at six zonal venues across the county. The venues are Bangabandhu National Stadium (Dhaka), Rafiquddin Bhuiyan Stadium (Mymensingh), Sheikh Moni Stadium (Gopalganj), Sheikh Kamal Stadium (Nilphamari), Shaheed Bhulu Stadium (Noakhali) and Sylhet District Stadium (Sylhet).
The decision was taken at a meeting of the BFF Professional Football League Committee (PFLC) at the federation’s board-room on Saturday afternoon with committee chairman Abdus Salam Murshedy MP in the chair.
Meanhile, the Bangladesh Champioinship League (BCL) football will kick off on February 5 at Bir Shreshta Shapahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur area.
Earlier, the representatives of Bangladesh Premier League and Bangladesh Championship Leagues received PFLC chairman Abdus Salam Mushedy with a bouquet and greeted him to be elected as Parliament member from Khulna-4 constituenecy in the recently concluded 11th National Election.
