Rahmatganj MFS earned their second victory in their seventh match of the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating Brothers Union 2-0 on Sunday.

With the day’s feat at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, the Old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj advanced to the sixth slot in the league table, collecting six points from seven matches.

And Brothers Union suffered their fifth defeat in six matches and remained at the 12th place in the league standings.

Tajik forward Dilshod Vesiev put Rahmatganj MFS ahead in the 33rd minute (1-0) while Ivorian striker Christ Remi confirmed the team’s victory scoring the second goal in the 48th minute (2-0).

Two matches will be held on Monday.

League leader Bashundhara Kings will play Muktijoddha Sangsad KC at 3pm at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla.

And Uttar Baridhara will face Chittagong Abahani at 4pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
