Oman broke the deadlock in the 29th minute as their captain Rashad Al-Fazari opened account from a penalty corner (1-0), but Ashraful Islam leveled the margin for Bangladesh also from a penalty corner just in two minutes (1-1).
Captain Mahbub Hossain scored the 2nd goal for Bangladesh in the 34th minute (2-1).
Oman continued their attacking game and took its fruits as their Akram Bait and Adnan Al-Hasani scored two goals in the 40th and 49th minutes respectively (3-2).
In the 55th minute, Hussein Bait Faraj Allah scored fourth goal for Oman (4-2).
Just a minute before the final whistle, Ashraful scored his 2nd goal to reduce the margin in the 59th minute (4-3).
Earlier, Hosts Bangladesh Youth Hockey team made a good start beating Oman by 5-1 goals in the opening match and defeated them by 2-0 goals in the 3rd match after playing 2-2 draw in the 2nd match.
Oman arrived here on Monday from Pakistan after playing four preparatory matches there, responding to the invitation of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) as part of Bangladesh team’s preparations for the next year’s Junior Asia Cup in Dhaka, a qualifying meet for the Junior Hockey World Cup.
