In their opening match, Bangladesh team will face Hong Kong China on September 9 and meet Uzbekistan on September 11 in the second game.
In their last match of Pool B, Bangladesh girls will play against hosts Singapore on September 12.
Meanwhile, Chinese Taipei have been placed in Pool A with Kazakhstan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) released the schedule of the Women’s Junior AHF Cup on Tuesday at their official website.
The top two teams of the eight-team fray will join China, Japan, Korea, India, Malaysia and Thailand in the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2020 and the qualifier for the Hockey Junior World Cup 2021.
Earlier, some 50 under-21 girls started a 16-day hockey preparation camp at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on May 14 under the supervision of Directorate of Sports.
After the Eid-ul-Fitr, the girls will start their further training under the supervision of the Bangladesh Hockey Federation from July till September.
The team coach Hedayetul Islam Rajib said that the BHF General Secretary promised to girls for a Club Cup competition and a foreign training camp in India or Malaysia ahead of Women’s Junior AHF Cup on September.
“After Eid-ul-Fitr, the further training will be held under the supervision of the Bangladesh Hockey Federation. The new GS AKM Mominul Haque Sayeed promised to the girls for a for a Club Cup competition and a foreign training camp ahead of their Junior AHF Cup Hockey meet on September,” he said.
Meanwhile, GS Mominul Haque Sayeed handed to girls Tk 5 thousand each and Senior Vice-president of BHF Abdur Rashid Shikdar gifted new hockey sticks to the team.
