Islami Bank Bangladesh inaugurated its Bonpara branch in Natore Monday.
Md Abdul Quddus MP inaugurated the 392nd branch of the bank as chief guest, according to a media statement.

The Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) has awarded the Islami Bank Bangladesh, nine other banks, and five non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) for their performance in sustainable finance.
The awards were handed over at the 9th annual banking conference of the BIBM in Dhaka Sunday.

IBBL board of directors' meeting held
A meeting of the board of directors of the Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) was held Wednesday online.
The meeting approved the unaudited financial statements of the bank's second quarter. It also discussed the recent business performance of the bank and took some policy-related decisions.
Professor Md Nazmul Hassan, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting.

Islami Bank signs agreement with Pran-RFL
Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has signed an agreement with Pran-RFL Group to provide point of sale (POS) service to its cardholders.
Under the memorandum of understanding (MoU), clients will be able to buy products from Pran-RFL outlets using IBBL POS machines.

JQM Habibullah, deputy managing director of IBBL, and Uzma Chowdhury, finance director of Pran-RFL, signed the agreement.

Islami Bank holds 39th AGM
The 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was held virtually on Tuesday.
Professor Md Nazmul Hassan, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting, the bank said in a statement.

Yousif Abdullah Al-Rajhi of KSA and Md Shahabuddin, vice-chairmen of the bank, Dr Areef Suleman, representative of IDB along with other directors, Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director & CEO, Prof Mohammad Gias Uddin Talukder, chairman of Shariah Supervisory Committee, JQM Habibullah, deputy managing director and company secretary along with foreign institutional shareholders and a significant number of local shareholders participated in the meeting.
The meeting approved the financial statements of the bank for the year ended 31 December 2021 and a 10 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders.
