Bangladesh reports 27 more dengue cases
Twenty-seven more people were hospitalised with dengue in the 24 hours to Saturday morning.
However, no fatalities were reported during this period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Also, the DGHS did not report any dengue death in the first six days of this year.
The country recorded 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
A total of 202 dengue patients, including 94 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
The DGHS has recorded 242 dengue cases and 40 recoveries so far this year. It recorded 62,423 cases and 61,971 recoveries last year.

Eight more people were hospitalised with dengue in the 24 hours to Friday morning.
However, no fatalities were reported during this period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 214 dengue patients, including 101 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

Forty-nine more people were hospitalised with dengue in 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
Of the new patients, 19 were admitted to the hospitals in Dhaka and 30 outside it, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 212 dengue patients, including 102 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country
So far, DGHS recorded 176 dengue cases and 36 recoveries this year with zero death.

Of the new patients, 21 were admitted to the hospitals of Dhaka and 20 outside it, said DGHS.
A total of 249 dengue patients, including 152 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

Of the new patients, six were admitted to the hospitals of Dhaka and 8 outside it, said DGHS.

Sixty-five more people were hospitalised with dengue in 24 hours till Thursday morning.
The official death toll from the mosquito-borne disease remained unchanged at 281 as no death was recorded during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the new patients, 18 were admitted to the hospitals of Dhaka and 47 outside it, said DGHS.
A total of 359 dengue patients, including 170 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

With three more deaths reported from dengue in 24 hours till Tuesday morning, the official death toll from the mosquito-borne disease rose to 281 this year.
This is the highest ever dengue fatalities recorded in a single year in Bangladesh. The previous record of 179 deaths were reported in 2019.

During this period, 62 more patients, including 35 in Dhaka city, were hospitalised, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 395 dengue patients, including 203 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
