Walton 'Smart Fridge, Smart Maker' season-2 begins
Walton has launched the second season of its two-round video making contest "Smart Fridge, Smart Maker."
Anyone can participate in the first round of the contest and the ten best video makers will be eligible for the second round and get a reward of Tk50,000 each.

The top three contestants of the second round will get Tk3 lakh, Tk2 lakh and Tk1 lakh.
A three-member judge panel consisting of National Film Award-winning actress Kusum Sikder, Firoj Alam – senior executive director and chief marketing officer of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd (WHIL) – and Amin Khan – senior executive director and head of brand management of WHIL – will select publishable videos.
The announcement was made at a programme in the capital Wednesday.

Each of the video contents will be judged based on 100 marks – 25 on the story, 50 on content development and 25 on the makers' social media activities.
The top 10 mark-getters will make it to the second round. Next, each of them will get Tk50,000 and a script for making another video.
In the second round, which will be held till December 2, each video content will have 100 marks – 50 on video content development and the rest on the makers' social media activities.

Bproperty, LankaBangla ink deal to provide easier home loan

Tk 500 hourly cashback on bKash Add Money
First five customers in every hour can win Tk 500 cashback by availing Add Money service from banks and cards to bKash accounts throughout October.
First five users of every hour from 6am to 10pm, using Add Money service amounting Tk 6,500 and above will be eligible for the cashback during the campaign period.

Cashback will be sent within 2-3 working days to the respective bKash account of the customer where Add Money has been done. One can win cashback once a day, said a media release on Monday.
From the largest MFS Add Money network of 29 banks, customers can Add Money to their own or loved ones’ bKash account through internet banking and app.

Users can also enjoy the Add Money service from Visa and Mastercard issued in Bangladesh in the same way.
To avail the service, a customer needs to add bKash number as beneficiary via registering to the online banking of the banks.

After logging in to the bank account, customer has to put few information like bKash number, amount, OTP code and bKash PIN to complete the transaction. After successful transaction, customer will get SMS notification.
Customers can also avail Add Money service from Visa and Mastercard to bKash account by following few steps in bKash app’s card to bKash option. A user can avail the service from several cards as well.

Grameenphone partners with Wipro for advanced network management
Grameenphone (GP) has signed a contract with global technology service company Wipro Limited to acquire advanced network capabilities.
Wipro will be part of managing GP's present mobile networks and building an advanced future-fit network.
The new contract expands the relationship between the two companies, as GP has relied on Wipro as a technology partner to manage application development, infrastructure support and IT security.
